Boston, MA – Athena Art Finance Corporation’s CEO, Andrea Danese, participated in the first-ever Global Auction House Summit, where he spoke as a member of an expert panel on The Globalization of the Art Market. The panel discussion, which was part of the invitation-only event, was moderated by Marion Maneker, Publisher of Art Market Monitor, and focused on the realities and implications of art increasingly trading as an asset.

Commenting on market transparency, Danese noted that the opportunities are increasing for all participants.  As transparency increases, for example, Athena Art Finance can better assess risk and valuations and provide optimal financial solutions to collectors who are focused on managing their wealth and accessing the value of their art.  Ultimately, transparency will also help drive better due diligence and best practices.

The Global Auction House Summit, presented by Invaluable, at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, brought together representatives from the world’s top auction houses and the art community to exchange ideas, discuss best practices and propel the future of the industry forward. The event included interactive sessions, panel discussions, and keynotes led by top CEOs, industry experts, and key influencers from around the world to inspire conversation, offer fresh insights, share experiences and discuss new strategies for today’s digital world.
